Ticking "Enable grid mode (geographic tiling)" breaks the area into a grid of search points so you get coverage instead of one central result cluster. You set Grid spacing in km (presets Tight 10 km, Medium 20 km, Wide 50 km, Very wide 100 km) and an optional Grid radius. The form shows a live Grid points count and folds it into the estimated request and cost figures.
