What happens to a contact's history when I merge duplicates?
The merge re-points every related record (phone calls, emails, SMS conversations, notes, tasks, meetings, list memberships and sequence enrollments) onto the survivor, fills any empty field on the survivor from the losers, then removes the losing contacts. Rows that would collide, such as both contacts enrolled in the same sequence, are dropped rather than duplicated.
