No. If an old open session is already past its ceiling (the shift end, or clock-in plus the max session length), KLCT auto-closes it with a note "Auto clock-out - missed manual clock-out." and lets today's clock-in proceed. If the session is genuinely still within its window, you will see "You are already clocked in since ..." instead.
